We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in machining and be proficient in operating various CNC machines. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints accurately. As a Machinist, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality components that meet our stringent specifications.
Duties
Operate CNC lathes and milling machines to manufacture precision parts.
Perform CNC programming and CAM programming for various machining tasks.
Utilize GD&T principles to ensure parts meet design specifications.
Conduct electrical discharge machining when required.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to verify dimensions.
Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting issues.
Collaborate with team members to improve manufacturing processes through lean manufacturing principles.
Utilize hand tools and power tools for assembly and fabrication tasks.
Engage in plastics injection molding processes as needed.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Machinist with a strong understanding of machining processes.
Proficiency in CNC programming, CAD software, SolidWorks, and CAM programming is highly desirable.
Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and tooling techniques.
Basic math skills for calculations related to machining tasks.
Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
Experience with welding is a plus but not mandatory.
Ability to operate forklifts safely is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
