We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machining and be proficient in operating CNC lathes. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints. As a CNC Lathe Operator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality components while adhering to safety and quality standards within our manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities
Operate CNC lathe machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
Set up and adjust CNC machines, including tooling and fixtures.
Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical documents.
Perform CNC programming and CAM programming as needed.
Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure quality control.
Conduct routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
Collaborate with team members on the assembly line for efficient workflow.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Participate in materials handling, fabrication, and tooling processes as required.
Experience
Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with Fanuc controls and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
Experience with CNC milling machines, press brake machines, stamping presses, and flexo presses is a plus.
Proficiency in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and assembly techniques.
Ability to perform basic math calculations related to machining processes.
Previous factory or warehouse experience is preferred.
