Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of CNC programming, machining processes, and precision measurement techniques. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work with various machining tools and equipment to produce high-quality components.

Responsibilities

  • Must be proficient in Mastercam
  • Set up and operate CNC lathe and milling machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining operations required.
  • Perform CNC programming, including CAM programming, to optimize production efficiency.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to ensure product quality.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any operational issues.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams using SolidWorks and CAD software for design modifications.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve workflow and reduce waste.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with a strong background in machining processes.
  • Proficiency in CNC programming and familiarity with Fanuc controls is preferred.
  • Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
  • Experience with electrical discharge machining is a plus.
  • Familiarity with plastics injection molding processes is advantageous.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools, power tools, and tooling effectively.
  • Basic math skills for precise calculations related to machining tasks.
  • Previous experience in assembly or welding may be beneficial.

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Pay: $40.00 – $50.00 per hour

Expected Hours: 55 per week
