We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented, and hands-on CNC Programmer to join a high-precision manufacturing team supporting complex machined components. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both programming and running their own parts, while working in an environment where precision, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement matter.
In this position, you will play a critical role in programming, setup, troubleshooting, and machining production and prototype parts on CNC mills and lathes while helping ensure quality, efficiency, and performance.

Key Responsibilities
CNC Programming & Setup
- Set up and operate CNC milling and turning centers for production and prototype work
- Create, edit, troubleshoot, and optimize CNC programs at the machine and through CAM software
- Program using Mastercam (highly preferred) and/or directly at machine controls
- Prove out new programs and support process improvements to increase efficiency and quality
- Assist with tooling selection and fixture setup when needed
Machining & Production
- Machine forgings, castings, and bar stock to tight tolerances
- Perform turning, drilling, tapping, boring, milling, slotting, grooving, threading, grinding, and related machining operations
- Run production and prototype parts while maintaining strict quality standards
- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot machining issues as they arise
Blueprint Reading & Quality Control
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and solid models
- Apply machining math, trigonometry, and technical measurements to production requirements
- Use precision measuring instruments to inspect and verify part quality
- Ensure parts meet tolerance and specification requirements
Process Improvement & Team Support
- Collaborate on process improvements to optimize machining operations and production flow
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation
- Support and mentor machine operators when needed
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing environment

Qualifications / Requirements
- 4+ years of CNC machining experience required (mills and/or lathes)
- Strong setup experience required (beyond operator-level machining)
- Experience programming using Mastercam strongly preferred
- Ability to create and edit programs at the machine control and/or through CAM software
- Experience holding tight tolerances in a production environment required
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T
- Working knowledge of trigonometry and machining math required
- Experience with manual mills or lathes is a plus
- Aerospace or regulated manufacturing experience preferred
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must be eligible to work in the United States under ITAR regulations (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident)
Schedule & Physical Requirements
Schedule:
Monday – Friday
7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Full-time opportunity in a manufacturing environment
- Must be comfortable standing for extended periods throughout the shift
- Ability to regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds
- Comfortable working around machining equipment and production environments
- Frequent use of measuring tools, hand tools, and precision instruments required
- Ability to maintain focus and accuracy in a fast-paced production environment
