Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Deburr Operator to support production by removing excess material, sharp edges, and surface imperfections from machined components. In this role, you will ensure finished parts maintain structural integrity, meet quality requirements, and conform to production standards.
The ideal candidate has strong hand-tool skills, a sharp eye for detail, and experience working in a manufacturing or machine shop environment where precision and quality are critical.
Key Responsibilities
- Remove burrs, sharp edges, and excess material from machined parts using hand tools, grinders, and finishing equipment
- Inspect parts visually and with basic measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met
- Work closely with the Deburr Setup Operator to understand part requirements and finishing specifications
- Maintain part integrity while achieving required surface finishes
- Identify defects, damage, or inconsistencies and report issues promptly
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Meet production goals while maintaining high quality standards
- Handle parts carefully to prevent scratches, dents, or distortion
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in deburring, finishing, or manufacturing preferred
- Ability to use hand tools, pneumatic tools, and finishing equipment
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to read basic work instructions or drawings
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle parts safely
- Strong work ethic and reliability
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Experience in aerospace or precision machining environments
- Familiarity with surface finish requirements and tolerances
- Basic inspection or quality control experience
