Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Machinist to join our growing manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in machining and precision manufacturing.

As an Entry Level Machinist, you will work closely with experienced machinists, setup operators, and supervisors to learn CNC machining fundamentals, assist with machine operation, perform basic inspections, and support daily production goals. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, eager to learn, dependable, and committed to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in operating CNC mills and lathes under supervision
• Load and unload parts and materials into machines
• Perform basic deburring, cleaning, and finishing of machined components
• Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to inspect parts
• Follow blueprints, work instructions, and job travelers
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Support machine setups and tooling changes as directed
• Monitor machines during operation and report issues to supervisors
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
• Support team members to meet daily production targets

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machining processes
• Basic math skills and ability to read measurements
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Good work ethic and reliability
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Trade school or vocational training in machining or manufacturing
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment
• Basic knowledge of CNC machines
• Experience using hand tools and measuring instruments
