Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Mechanic to maintain the integrity and reliability of production equipment and plant facilities. This role is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, and completing repairs to support safe and efficient operations in accordance with company standards.
The ideal candidate is proactive, technically proficient, and able to work independently to diagnose issues, complete repairs, and ensure continuous production readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repair work on production equipment and facility systems
- Start and test machines following repairs to ensure proper operation
- Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and test procedures
- Complete work orders and respond to maintenance service calls in a timely manner
- Document maintenance activities and preventive tasks accurately
- Monitor spare parts inventory and report usage
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Perform other maintenance duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 3 years of related maintenance experience
- Technical school education preferred
- PLC troubleshooting skills
- Strong knowledge of pneumatic, mechanical, and electro-mechanical systems
- Ability to read and interpret written instructions and procedures
- Strong problem-solving and reasoning abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Additional technical certifications or training
