Key Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance & Repair
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production equipment and facility machinery
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical issues
  • Start, test, and inspect machinery following repairs to ensure proper operation
  • Respond quickly and effectively to maintenance calls and equipment concerns
  • Help minimize downtime and support efficient production flow
Troubleshooting & Problem Solving
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues throughout the facility and production areas
  • Perform regular inspections, testing procedures, and preventative maintenance checks
  • Identify root causes of mechanical failures and implement effective solutions
  • Apply practical problem-solving skills to support operational success
Work Orders & Documentation
  • Complete preventative maintenance records and work orders accurately and in a timely manner
  • Track maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance
  • Monitor spare parts inventory and report usage or shortages
  • Maintain organized documentation and follow maintenance schedules
Safety & Facility Support
  • Follow all workplace safety standards and maintenance protocols
  • Work safely around moving machinery, production equipment, and industrial environments
  • Assist with maintaining the overall integrity of facility systems and operations
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Additional Duties
  • Support production teams by responding to operational maintenance needs
  • Assist with facility maintenance projects as needed
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications / Requirements

  • 3+ years of maintenance mechanic or related experience required
  • Technical school education preferred (2+ years)
  • Experience working with PLC systems preferred
  • Strong knowledge of pneumatic, mechanical, and electro-mechanical systems
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret written instructions, procedures, reports, and schedules
  • Strong math skills, including fractions, percentages, ratios, and measurements
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems independently and apply practical solutions
  • Strong common-sense decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adjust work plans to meet deadlines

Schedule & Physical Requirements

Schedule:
3rd Shift / Overnight Position
Schedule to be discussed during the interview process

  • Full-time opportunity in a manufacturing environment
  • Must be comfortable standing, walking, and moving throughout the shift
  • Ability to sit, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, and reach when needed
  • Frequent use of hands for handling tools, equipment, and parts
  • Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • Comfortable working around moving machinery and industrial equipment
  • Exposure to manufacturing conditions, including temperature changes, humidity, airborne particles, machinery, and moderate industrial noise
