Description

The Senior IT Help Desk Technician provides advanced support for IT systems, ensuring connectivity, reliability, and productivity across the organization. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of IT help desk experience with hands-on expertise in troubleshooting, deployment, and escalation support.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform all junior help desk responsibilities (provisioning, onboarding, troubleshooting, ticketing, printer support, etc.).

  • Provide higher-level escalation support for complex technical issues.

  • Lead by example in enforcing standard IT practices and processes.

  • Ensure digital communication systems remain fully operational.

  • Collaborate with IT leadership and mentor junior help desk staff.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years IT Help Desk experience.

  • Strong background in IT infrastructure, networking, and system support.

  • Experience in large company environments preferred.

  • Familiarity with manufacturing/distribution IT support a plus.

  • Ability to work independently and mentor junior team members.

  • Must be on-site during business hours (7:00 AM – 4:30 PM).

Compensation & Details:

  • Job Type: Temp-to-Hire (3-month conversion expected)

  • Salary: Up to $48.05 per hour

  • Expected Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM (possible overtime)

  • Experience: 5+ years required
