Description

The User Support Technician ensures that all employees remain productive and connected by maintaining essential IT tools such as computers, laptops, cellphones, printers, and digital communication systems. This role involves troubleshooting, onboarding/offboarding users, enforcing standard processes, and resolving issues through the company’s ticketing system.

Responsibilities:

  • Provision and configure laptops, computers, and cellphones.

  • Onboard/offboard users using standardized checklists.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT infrastructure issues.

  • Enforce standard ways of working to minimize disruptions.

  • Respond to incidents via ticketing system and service desk phone calls.

  • Deploy computers and cellphones (shipping & prep).

  • Provide printer troubleshooting and support for walk-ins.

  • Ensure compliance with company IT standards and security.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of IT help desk or tech support experience (preferred).

  • Large company or manufacturing/distribution industry experience is a plus.

  • Familiarity with computer imaging, deployment, and ticketing systems.

  • Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.

  • Ability to work on-site, business casual dress code.

Compensation & Details:

  • Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

  • Salary: Up to $30.00 per hour

  • Expected Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM (possible overtime)

  • Experience: 2+ years preferred
