Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Route Coverage

• Serve as a backup/on-call driver to cover routes when scheduled drivers are unavailable
• Pick up automotive parts from the warehouse for daily deliveries
• Deliver parts safely, accurately, and on time to customers
• Follow assigned delivery routes efficiently and professionally
• Adapt quickly to changing schedules and route assignments
• Maintain urgency without sacrificing professionalism or accuracy

Customer Service & Professionalism

• Provide professional, friendly service during every delivery
• Represent the company in a positive and professional manner
• Build strong relationships with mechanics, dealerships, repair shops, and customers
• Communicate clearly and professionally with warehouse teams and customers

Accuracy & Quality Control

• Double-check invoices before leaving the warehouse
• Verify the correct parts are being delivered to each customer
• Inspect boxes and contents when necessary to ensure order accuracy
• Help reduce delivery mistakes, missing items, and returns through attention to detail
• Confirm order accuracy before completing each stop

Returns Handling

• Ask customers if they have returns during deliveries
• Properly collect and transport returned parts back to the warehouse
• Ensure return paperwork and processes are completed accurately

Cash Handling

• Occasionally collect Cash on Delivery (COD) payments
• Handle payments responsibly and accurately
• Follow company procedures for payment collection and documentation

Vehicle & Safety

• Drive safely and responsibly at all times
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and professional vehicle appearance
• Report vehicle concerns or delivery issues promptly

Qualifications / Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred
• Previous delivery driving, warehouse, automotive, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
• Must be comfortable with on-call availability and flexible scheduling
• Ability to follow directions and quickly adapt to different delivery routes
• Strong attention to detail and professionalism
• Comfortable using invoices, paperwork, and delivery documentation
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and warehouse staff
• Dependable transportation to and from the warehouse
