Key Responsibilities
Dispatching & Scheduling
- Schedule and dispatch drivers, personnel, vehicles, and/or service teams based on customer needs and daily operational demands
- Coordinate routes and schedules to ensure timely and efficient service completion
- Monitor and track driver and field activity using GPS or dispatch software when applicable
- Communicate schedule changes and updates to field teams in real time
Customer Communication & Support
- Communicate with customers to provide updates regarding service timelines and completion status
- Respond professionally to customer questions and concerns regarding services or scheduling
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining professionalism in fast-paced situations
- Work with customers and internal teams to ensure smooth service coordination
Operations & Problem Solving
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational or scheduling issues that arise throughout the day
- Quickly adapt to changing priorities and unexpected service disruptions
- Help ensure daily operations stay organized, efficient, and on schedule
- Maintain compliance with company procedures and operational standards
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate dispatch records, service logs, route updates, and scheduling information
- Enter and update dispatch-related information in company systems
- Prepare daily reports summarizing service and dispatch activity for leadership
- Track and document changes, service completion updates, and operational issues
Teamwork & Additional Support
- Collaborate closely with drivers, field staff, leadership, and customers to support operational success
- Assist in maintaining a productive, team-oriented work environment
- Support additional operational duties as assigned

Qualifications / Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Additional education or certifications in logistics, transportation, or operations management is a plus
- Previous dispatcher or similar coordination experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience handling difficult people, conflict resolution, or high-pressure customer interactions strongly preferred
- Familiarity with local geography and traffic patterns preferred
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus
Schedule & Physical Requirements
Schedule:
Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM to start
Future Schedule Transition:
7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Full-time, office-based position
- Must be comfortable sitting, speaking on the phone, and working on a computer throughout the day
- Ability to multitask and respond quickly to changing priorities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent communication demands
