Key Responsibilities

Territory Sales & Business Development
  • Grow battery sales within the assigned Bay Area territory by building strong customer relationships and expanding market share
  • Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities with installers, fleets, municipalities, dealerships, and automotive businesses
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing accounts while identifying opportunities for increased sales
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the customer base and strengthen market presence
  • Achieve and exceed established sales goals and performance targets
Account Management & Customer Relationships
  • Provide professional, consistent service to customers and dealer accounts on a regular basis
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the territory
  • Resolve customer concerns and support issue resolution in a professional manner
  • Maintain customer satisfaction while identifying opportunities for account growth
  • Ensure dealer accounts remain serviced, organized, and properly supported
Route Management & Territory Organization
  • Organize territory routes and maintain structured dealer account coverage
  • Keep operations updated on customer activity, inventory needs, and route priorities
  • Maintain dealer lists and ensure consistent communication across the territory
  • Manage warranty-related invoicing for units that fail within the warranty period
Sales Reporting & Analysis
  • Analyze sales numbers and territory performance to identify opportunities for growth
  • Review reports and customer trends to improve sales performance and account penetration
  • Track progress toward goals and adjust sales strategies as needed
  • Assist in creating growth opportunities within the assigned territory
Leadership & Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with leadership and department teams to support business initiatives
  • Communicate effectively with operations, management, and internal departments
  • Promote a positive, results-driven, and growth-oriented culture
  • Support recruiting efforts, performance expectations, and business objectives when needed
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of sales management experience in a highly competitive market required
  • Prior success selling wholesale automotive parts or batteries in the aftermarket industry strongly preferred
  • Experience prospecting, developing, and closing new business preferred
  • Experience working with installers, fleets, municipalities, and dealerships is a plus
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities
  • Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in Google Applications, Microsoft Word, and Excel required
  • General automotive knowledge strongly preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish is a plus
  • DOT Medical Card required
  • Comfortable handling company assets, payments, and cash transfers when necessary

Schedule & Physical Requirements

  • Full-time, field-based position covering the Bay Area territory
  • Frequent travel throughout the territory required
  • Must be comfortable driving regularly and visiting customer locations
  • Ability to lift and transport battery products when needed
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to meet customer and business needs as required
