We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate (Vertical Order Picker Operator) to join a busy automotive parts warehouse team. In this role, you will operate a vertical order picker/forklift to accurately pull automotive parts for mechanics, dealerships, repair shops, and commercial customers.

Key Responsibilities

Vertical Order Picker Operation

• Safely operate a vertical order picker forklift to retrieve automotive parts from elevated warehouse shelving
• Navigate warehouse aisles efficiently while following all safety procedures
• Operate equipment responsibly to ensure safe and accurate order fulfillment
• Perform equipment safety checks and report concerns promptly

Order Picking & Fulfillment

• Accurately pick automotive parts based on invoices, pick tickets, and customer orders
• Pull the correct parts, quantities, and product numbers for each order
• Stage completed orders for shipping or delivery routes
• Work with urgency while maintaining a high level of accuracy
• Help ensure orders are completed on time to support delivery schedules

Accuracy & Quality Control

• Double-check part numbers, quantities, and order details before completing picks
• Verify products are correct and in good condition before staging
• Help reduce picking errors, missing items, and returns through strong attention to detail
• Perform due diligence to ensure customers receive the right parts the first time

Warehouse Organization

• Help maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked warehouse shelves and bins
• Return misplaced inventory to proper locations
• Support inventory organization and warehouse efficiency
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory checks as needed

Teamwork & Warehouse Support

• Work closely with warehouse staff, receiving teams, and drivers to keep operations running smoothly
• Communicate inventory shortages, damaged products, or discrepancies promptly
• Support general warehouse operations when needed
• Assist with additional warehouse responsibilities as assigned

Safety & Equipment

• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company guidelines
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Follow proper lifting, material handling, and equipment safety procedures
• Work safely around warehouse traffic, inventory, and machinery

Qualifications / Requirements

• Previous warehouse, order picking, forklift, or inventory experience preferred
• Experience operating a vertical order picker/cherry picker is strongly preferred
• Experience in an automotive parts warehouse is a plus
• Ability to read invoices, pick tickets, and warehouse documentation
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working at elevated heights during the workday
• Dependable transportation to and from work

Schedule & Physical Requirements

Schedule:
Sunday – Thursday
3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

• Full-time opportunity in a warehouse environment
• Must be comfortable standing, walking, bending, reaching, and moving throughout the shift
• Ability to regularly lift and move automotive parts
• Frequent use of warehouse equipment and elevated order picking throughout the day
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Ability to work safely around warehouse equipment, shelving, and inventory
