We are looking for a skilled, detail-oriented, and quality-focused Zirconia Finisher & Fitter to join a growing dental laboratory team. In this role, you will play an important part in producing high-quality zirconia restorations by refining, fitting, contouring, and finishing crowns to ensure proper function, fit, and esthetics.

Key Responsibilities

Zirconia Fitting & Adjustment
  • Fit zirconia crowns into dies to ensure proper adaptation and accuracy
  • Adjust interproximal contacts, occlusion, and margins to ensure proper function and fit
  • Inspect restorations to verify quality standards before final processing
  • Make precise refinements to achieve proper restoration performance and esthetics
Sprue Removal & Contouring
  • Carefully remove sprues from zirconia restorations using carbide burs
  • Refine gingival tissue areas and margins while preventing damage or chipping
  • Contour restorations to achieve proper anatomical shape and functionality
  • Ensure restorations meet laboratory quality expectations
Texturing & Surface Anatomy
  • Add natural surface anatomy, grooves, micro-texture, and wear facets using precision tools such as needle diamonds
  • Create lifelike surface characteristics to improve esthetics and realism
  • Ensure restorations achieve a natural appearance and proper morphology
Polishing & Finishing
  • Polish zirconia restorations using specialized polishing systems, including rubber twist polishers and finishing tools
  • Remove bur marks and smooth restoration surfaces prior to firing or glazing
  • Assist with staining and glazing monolithic zirconia restorations after sintering when needed
  • Ensure restorations meet quality and appearance standards before completion
Quality Control & Team Support
  • Inspect restorations for accuracy, fit, quality, and finish consistency
  • Maintain organized workstations and laboratory cleanliness standards
  • Work closely with technicians and laboratory staff to ensure production timelines are met
  • Perform additional laboratory duties as assigned

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Previous dental laboratory experience preferred, especially with zirconia restorations
  • Experience fitting and finishing zirconia crowns strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with occlusion, margins, contacts, and dental anatomy preferred
  • Experience using carbide burs, needle diamonds, polishers, and finishing tools preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity required
  • Ability to maintain consistent quality in a fast-paced laboratory environment
  • Experience with polishing, contouring, staining, and glazing zirconia is a plus

Schedule & Physical Requirements

  • Full-time opportunity in a dental laboratory environment
  • Must be comfortable sitting for extended periods while performing detailed work
  • Frequent hand movements and fine motor skill use required
  • Ability to work with small instruments and detailed restorations for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-focused environment
